​Beloved, the parable of the Prodigal Son has been a favorite for many of us over the years. Today we will study that portion of Scripture and focus on the heart of the Father who loved his prodigal son. 
Obviously, since it is Father’s Day the application is for fathers, but it also reminds us of our heavenly Father who loves us so much.
If there was one characteristic in this parable that stands out it is the characteristic of grace. A godly Father is gracious, just like our heavenly Father is gracious!
