Beloved, Pentecost is a very important day to the early church. It is the birthday of the early church! It is when the Holy Spirit invaded the hearts, minds and lives of believers whom were waiting in Jerusalem just as Jesus Christ told them.
How important is Pentecost to the early church? AW Tozer said, “If the Holy Spirit were taken away from the early church, 90% of what they did would cease. If the Holy Spirit were taken away from the church today, 10% of what the church does would cease.
Because you attend a Calvary Chapel some people will either label you as a charismatic nut or spiritually dead. Remember this quote: “Too much word and you dry up, too much spirit and you blow up, enough word and enough spirit and you grow up!”
